Character Counts

Parkview Elementary School serves students in grades Kindergarten through Third. It offers a comprehensive curriculum as well as music, computer, library, and varied supplemental programs. Computers in every classroom and computer labs allow the students to use software programs. In addition, Parkview offers a variety of activities and programs after school. The school stresses academic excellence through quality teaching using Standards; students are expected to follow the six pillars of "Character Counts."

It is the mission of Parkview Elementary to develop productive citizens for today and tomorrow. It exists to provide challenging and meaningful learning opportunities for all children. The combined skills, talents, and resources of home, school, and community members, make education a life-long process. We strive to foster these essential qualities.

Our vision is to provide a safe, disciplined environment that stimulates and enriches the intellectual, physical, creative, emotional, and social development of the child. These characteristics are necessary to function as a contributing member of a complex and changing world.
